We are very pleased to announce that we have finally decided to organize our next Annual Conference in Toronto, Canada, and our official partner to support and assist us this year will be COLE INTERNATIONAL INC. We would like to thank them for their willingness to organize a successful conference in their beautiful country. We already have done an excellent job with them by visiting a few hotels in person and choosing the best location for our needs. After various visits to Vancouver (thank you Derrick Sones for visiting a few hotels during your vacation! 
), we understood that rates were incredibly expensive, so we started again our searches in Toronto with Atul Roy, where we found a location that does correspond to our needs. Canada is a very expensive country, but we like our way to be “unique” and find the best places in the world for our members!
Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, MarcoPoloLine, and Cole International Inc are looking forward to welcoming you warmly to Toronto next year.
Our booking form and Agenda will be published on our website very soon, and we will keep you posted. The official meeting will start on the 1st of September 2023 and end on the 5th of September 2023. Golf and Tennis players will have to arrive on the 31st of August, and the excursion day will be planned for the 4th of September, so those interested to join that wonderful day will have to leave on the 5th of September.

What a pleasure it is to be recognized as the MPL Conference Official Host for 2023 and to welcome all of our MPL family to the first conference to be held in Canada.
Together with the MPL Secretariat and Board, Cole International is honored to take part in the inaugural Official Host designation.
Cole International’s relationship with the MPL Network dates back to 2014 and we have proudly attended each conference since 2015; held in the wonderful host cities of Barcelona, Manila, Colombo, San Jose, Athens and Cannes, and now we prepare to welcome our MPL family to the great city of Toronto in 2023.
During the course of the next year I look forward to assisting MPL with the promotion of our conference and with highlighting some of the key attractions that Toronto and surrounding area have to offer.
Situated on the Western end of Lake Ontario, which together with the 4 other Great Lakes of North America comprise the inland waterway known as the Great Lakes / St. Lawrence Seaway System Toronto is 1 of 40 ports within the seaway connecting the Great Lakes to the Atlantic Ocean and allows for 3700 KMS of inland waterway traffic. The Seaway System flows directly in to our commercial, industrial and agricultural heartland, home to some 100 million people, roughly one quarter of the Canada / US combined population and is an integral transportation corridor for the US and Canada.
The Seaway System culminates in the Westernmost ports of Duluth in the State of Minnesota and Thunder Bay, Ontario in Canada, which just happens to also be the original home of Cole International when it was founded in 1956 and Incorporated in 1958.
The city of Toronto is the capital city of the Canadian province of Ontario, and while the city itself has a population of nearly 3 million, when combined with the neighboring communities that form the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) the population rises to almost 7 million, the largest in Canada and the most ethnically diverse. In fact a recent study by the BBC concluded with their determination that Toronto just happens to be the most diverse city IN THE WORLD! 230 different nationalities call the Greater Toronto Area home and its proportion of foreign-born residents accounts for over 51% of the population.
Cole International has 10 branch offices within the province of Ontario, with 3 of these offices (Toronto, Ottawa and Thunder Bay) having both Canadian Customs AND Freight operations staff.
Along with Mr. Atul Roy, Cole’s Global Network Manager, I look forward to seeing everyone in Toronto in 2023 and assisting MPL with putting on a fantastic conference and some pre and post conference activities.
