Dear all, For more than 45 years, Alfons Freriks Logistics has been a well-known name in the logistics world and we have shared with you, sometimes, as long, a pleasant cooperation. With great pride we would like to take you back to the past few years. 

Due to the continued growth of both the Rotterdam and Drachten locations, we wanted to fulfill one more wish and open a warehouse for our joint activities. Since 2020 we had entered into discussions with the Pentagon company as we wanted to build on the success of the past together, namely to move more cargo to and from Norway throughout Europe. 

Within Pentagon, which grew up in critical industries, people were looking for diversity, something Alfons Freriks Logistics specializes in. Soon we grew closer together and in Rotterdam we were the missing link in their worldwide own network. This is where our joint warehouse was created, which is already fully operational. 

There are many similarities between the company’s, a family business, they are more than 50 years old (we are now 45 years old) strong financial position, beautiful customer portfolios, high level of service and communication, but above all people who are central. 

Therefore we are pleased to announce that we, Ursula and Ed are handing over the baton and our company will be continued under the name Pentagon International BV for Rotterdam and Pentagon Transport BV for Drachten. 

We have been very careful about the progress and the well-known service and information, after all, the contacts are very dear to us.

 What does this mean for you concretely? Actually nothing, we will all continue as you are used to from us. 

• Contacts remain as they are 
• The name Alfons Freriks Logistics and Alfons Freriks Rotterdam will continue to exist for the time being
  
• The billing and bank details remain the same 

During the coming year we will slowly but surely make the transition to the Pentagon name.

Although it is not yet a farewell, it does mean that we would like to thank everyone very much for the trust they have placed in us, but also our colleagues within Rotterdam and Drachten without them our success would not have been possible.
